NYC Sandy Rapid Repairs Program Ending and Restoration Business Acceleration Team (RBAT) Begins
NYC's Rapid Repairs program is coming to an end. In all, it has helped repair more than 20,000 homes so about 54,000 people could get back home. $500 million of federal funding went towards installing boilers, replacing electrical panels and making other basic fixes for free so residents could return. The focus was on getting homes power, heat and hot water.
We at CES are honored to have been a part of the program and are committed to continuing aid to neighborhoods affected by Sandy.
NYC Restoration Business Acceleration Team (RBAT) assists businesses affected by Sandy by coordinating the services, permitting and inspections needed to reopen as soon as possible. The program includes client management, inspections/site visits and plan examination.
