Provided full range of Environmental Oversight Services during construction of 250MW natural gas-fired, combined cycle cogeneration facility located on an existing MGP (Manufactured Gas Plant) site. Services included environmental monitoring of work various contaminants, exposure assessment, air monitoring, bulk sampling, compliance monitoring and direct oversight of field activities. The project required coordination with a full range of construction activities performed on a very tight schedule and close interaction with construction trades, construction management firms, general contractor and specialty subcontractors. Participated in Security and Emergency Planning activities and exercises at the facility with KeySpan personnel and FDNY Special Operations Command.
